By accessing or using Mappic, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

2. Description of Service

Mappic is a web-based application that allows users to:

• Create custom map-based poster designs
• Customize maps with various styles, compositions, and design elements
• Generate high-resolution map images for personal use
• Purchase and download maps created by other users
• Share maps with the community (optional)

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use our services. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3.2 Account Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.4 One Account Per User

Each user may only maintain one active account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse the service or circumvent limitations is prohibited.

4. Credits System

4.1 Credit Purchase

Users can purchase credits to generate and download high-resolution maps. Credits are non-refundable except as required by law.

4.2 Credit Usage

• Credits are consumed when generating high-resolution maps
• The number of credits required depends on the map size and quality
• Credits do not expire
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts

4.3 Pricing

We reserve the right to modify credit prices at any time. Price changes will not affect credits already purchased.

4.4 Refund Policy

Credits are generally non-refundable. However, we may issue refunds at our discretion in cases of:

• Technical errors that prevent map generation
• Duplicate charges
• Service unavailability

5. Map Marketplace

5.1 Purchasing Maps

Users can purchase maps created by other users. When you purchase a map:

• You receive a copy of the map for personal use
• Credits are deducted from your account
• The purchase is final and non-refundable
• You do not acquire ownership of the original map

5.2 Sharing Maps

Users can choose to make their maps available for purchase by others. By doing so, you:

• Grant other users the right to purchase and use copies of your map
• Retain ownership of your original map
• Agree that Mappic may display your map in the marketplace

5.3 Prohibited Content

Maps shared in the marketplace must not contain:

• Offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content
• Copyrighted material you don't have rights to
• Personal information of others
• Misleading or fraudulent information

6. Usage Restrictions

6.1 Personal Use

Maps generated with Mappic are intended for personal use. You may:

• Print maps for personal decoration
• Use maps in personal projects
• Gift printed maps to others

6.2 Commercial Use Restrictions

Without explicit written permission, you may not:

• Sell or resell maps generated with Mappic
• Use maps in commercial products or services
• Reproduce maps for commercial distribution
• Use maps in advertising or marketing materials

6.3 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated tools to access the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Abuse the credits system or marketplace

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership of Generated Maps

You retain ownership of maps you create using Mappic. However, by using the service, you grant Mappic a non-exclusive, worldwide license to:

• Store and process your maps
• Display your maps if you choose to share them
• Use anonymized data for service improvement

7.2 Platform Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in Mappic's platform, including software, design, and branding, remain the exclusive property of Mappic.

7.3 Third-Party Data

Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap and contributors. You agree to comply with the OpenStreetMap license .

8. Service Availability and Modifications

8.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical issues
• Force majeure events

8.2 Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time, with or without notice.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

9.1 Termination by User

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination:

• Your access to the service will be revoked
• Your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
• Unused credits will be forfeited (non-refundable)

9.2 Termination by Mappic

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms and Conditions
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior

• Pose a security risk to the service or other users

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

• Quality of generated maps
• Fitness for a particular purpose

10.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mappic shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages exceeding the amount paid by you in the past 12 months

10.3 Map Accuracy

We do not guarantee 100% accuracy in map generation. Results may vary depending on location, data availability, and technical limitations.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mappic, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content you submit or share through the service

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiations between the parties
• If negotiations fail, the exclusive jurisdiction of Spanish courts

13. Changes to Terms
